Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use kukugo.com.au or buy from us. By placing an order
you agree to them. Please read them — particularly the section on using our
products.

ORDERS
Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept your offer when we send you a
dispatch confirmation. Until then we may decline an order — for example if an
item is out of stock, if there is an obvious pricing error, or if we cannot
deliver to your address. If we decline after you have paid, we refund you in
full.
We try to keep pricing and product information accurate, but errors happen. If an
error affects your order we will contact you before dispatching, and you can
confirm at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.
Product photographs are taken in natural light and colours may look slightly
different on your screen.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
We dispatch from Sydney within 2 business days.
Standard delivery within Australia is free on orders over $[FREE SHIPPING
THRESHOLD]. Rates and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and on our
Shipping page.
Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Once your parcel is with the
carrier, delivery timing is outside our control. If your order has not arrived in
a reasonable time, email us and we will chase it with the carrier.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Our returns and exchange terms are set out on our Returns page and form part of
these terms.
In short: 30 days, free size exchange with postage covered both ways, and trying
the item on your dog indoors does not affect your return.
USING OUR PRODUCTS
This section matters. Please read it.
Fit is your responsibility. A harness or collar only works if it is fitted
correctly. Follow our size guide, check that you can fit two fingers between the
strap and your dog, and re-check the fit after the first few walks and after
every groom. A loose harness is one a dog can back out of.
Supervision. Our products are walking and travel accessories, not restraint or
containment devices. Do not leave your dog unattended while wearing a harness,
collar or lead, and do not use them as a tether or tie-out.
Car seat belt. Our car seat belt is a travel restraint. It is designed to stop
your dog moving around the cabin, climbing into the front, or leaving the vehicle
when a door opens. It is not a crash-tested safety device and must not be relied
on as crash protection. Always attach it to a harness, never to a collar. Rules
on restraining animals in vehicles vary between Australian states and territories
— please check the rules that apply where you drive.
Not veterinary advice. Any information we publish about harnesses, fit or walking
is general information, not veterinary advice. If your dog has a medical
condition, an injury, or difficulty walking, speak to your vet before choosing
equipment.
Wear and tear. Webbing, stitching and hardware wear over time. Check your gear
regularly and replace anything frayed, cracked or no longer closing securely.
YOUR RIGHTS UNDER AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian
Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and
to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also
entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they are not of acceptable
quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those rights.
OUR LIABILITY
Subject to the section above, and to the extent permitted by law, our liability
for any claim relating to a product is limited to replacing the product,
supplying an equivalent product, or refunding the price you paid.
We are not liable for loss or damage that arises because a product was not fitted
correctly, was used for something it was not designed for, or was used after it
showed visible wear.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Kukugo name, logo, product designs, photographs and written content on this
site belong to us. You may share our content on social media with attribution.
You may not use it in your own commercial material, or copy our product designs
or descriptions, without our written permission.
If you tag us or use our branded hashtags, you give us permission to reshare your
post on our own channels with credit. We will always ask before using your
content in a paid advertisement.
CONTENT YOU SUBMIT
If you leave a review, send us a photo, or take part in our ambassador program,
you confirm the content is yours to share and that it is honest. We may edit for
length or clarity, and we may decline to publish content that is unlawful,
misleading, or unrelated to the product. We do not remove reviews simply because
they are critical.
DISCOUNT CODES AND PROMOTIONS
Unless we say otherwise, discount codes are for one use per customer, cannot be
combined with other offers, apply to full-priced items, and have an expiry date.
We may end a promotion early, but we will honour orders already placed.
THE SITE ITSELF
We try to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will
be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change products, prices and content at any
time without notice.
Please do not attempt to interfere with the site, scrape it, or use it for
anything unlawful.
THESE TERMS
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one
published when you placed it.
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to
apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
